HB Cares A Culture of Giving Back
HelmsBriscoe’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) philosophy is simple—to treat others the way we wish to be treated. HelmsBriscoe has long lived by the mantra, “doing well by doing good.” This philosophy is demonstrated through HB’s core values and involvement in charitable efforts.
The culture of giving back is more than just a philosophy at HelmsBriscoe. Through the HB Cares initiative, HB Associates in local communities are encouraged and supported in their efforts of volunteerism and charitable contributions. More specifically, HB Associates track and report their volunteer hours collectively, and to date, it is estimated that they have donated more than 21,750 hours in volunteer efforts to causes worldwide.
Doing Well by Doing Good
Since HelmsBriscoe’s inception in 1992, our company has engaged in numerous activities and supported organizations that improve the community at large.
Helms Family Foundation
The Helms Family Foundation was established in 2005, and in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the Foundation purchased and furnished a home for a family of seven that was being relocated from New Orleans.
Hundreds of Global Causes
Each year, HelmsBriscoe Associates, clients, and hotel and destination partners participate in a variety of volunteer efforts benefiting hundreds of causes throughout the globe.
Habitat for Humanity
HelmsBriscoe has sponsored and assisted in the hands-on building of 12 Habitat for Humanity homes in Arizona.
Each year at the HelmsBriscoe Annual Business Conference (ABC), a charitable cause is selected to receive a donation from HB, as well as a portion of each event registration fee. Past recipients include:
