Lisa Plachetzki

Lisa Plachetzki, Senior Director, Global Accounts, joined HelmsBriscoe in 2006. Lisa brings not only a wealth of knowledge, but also a passion for the industry which she loves so very much. Throughout her 30-year career, she has refined her negotiation skills, sharpened her contract expertise, and gained experience working with groups of all sizes, from 10 to 5,000. Since joining HelmsBriscoe, Lisa has successfully built long-lasting relationships with her clients, both personally and professionally.

Lisa started her career in the tourism industry after graduating college with a Hospitality Management degree. After managing several hotels in the high-tourist market of Traverse City, Michigan, she decided to relocate to the suburbs of Detroit, where she worked six years in hotel corporate sales. Those years prepared her for her next venture, HelmsBriscoe. Joining HelmsBriscoe was an easy decision as it allowed her to continue to partner with her clients while assisting them with programs all over the world. Her commitment is to exceed her clients’ expectations. Her strong work ethic, along with HelmsBriscoe's technology, buying power, and industry relationships, has earned her over eight industry awards.
