Karen Lane joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2023. Prior to that, she worked for 13 years in a support role for HelmsBriscoe EMEA team events Based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, UK, Karen has 25 years of experience working in finance and events for association clients. With Karen’s years of experience and industry knowledge, she understands her clients’ needs for maximizing cost savings, while also ensuring the highest level of service and most cost-effective venues for their events.

Prior to working with HelmsBriscoe, Karen worked in association management, where she was highly regarded by multiple associations and charity boards. She also has extensive experience maximizing the resources and budgets of SMEs. Service delivery is always her highest priority, and she will go the extra mile for her clients and events. She studied accounting and is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT). Her accounting background has been of great benefit to her clients in negotiating prices, concessions, terms, and conditions, allowing her to secure the best value for their budget.
