Amanda Guimaraes

Amanda joined HelmsBriscoe as Manager, Global Accounts in 2024 after relocating to northern Portugal. With 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she began her career in event management for renowned hotel groups. Her degree in event project management enabled her to build solid expertise in venue sourcing, planning, and coordinating events from start to finish. Her career has been enriched by strategic roles within major hotel chains; first near one of Europe’s largest amusement parks, then in Switzerland. These experiences allowed her to refine her skills by developing effective sales and marketing strategies in competitive international environments and building authentic relationships with a multicultural clientele.

With a keen sense of listening and a talent for negotiation, Amanda ensures that each partnership and agreement brings mutual value. She particularly enjoys the challenge of finding unique locations that enhance each client’s experience. For Amanda, success lies in understanding clients' visions and transforming them into reality. In addition to her career, Amanda is a mother of two—a role that inspires her daily to balance her professional and personal life, bringing energy and passion to every project she leads.
